NOTE: Photos are stored in the Auteureist™ database, and not in the device's Photos app.

The Photo Note Cration Screen allows you to use your camera to take a photograph, or to select a photograph from your Photos application Library to use as a research item.

When you first tap the green Photo button on the Research Selection Screen, you will be presented with a sheet that allow you to specify whether you want to use your camera or to select a photo from the built-in album picker.

Taking a Photo With The Camera

If you choose to take a photo with the built-in camera, you will be shown the standard camera interface.

Take a photograph, and then tap the Use button.

You will then be shown the Photo Naming Screen to name your photograph and attach a note to it.

The photograph will underlay the information you enter and will be subdued.

You can use the slider to adjust the photograph's transparency.

NOTE: The transparency setting is not stored with the photograph and is only for allowing you to view the photograph better.

Tap the Save button which will store your photograph in the novel's information, and you will return to the Research Selection Screen.

Choosing a Photo From the Photos Album

The photo album interface allows you to select a photo album from your photo library. This is the first step to selecting a photograph.

Once you have selected an album, you will be presented with the photo picker which allows you to select a specific photograph to use in your research.

Having selected a photograph, you will be shown the Photo Note Creation Screen which allows you to enter a title and a note or description of the photograph.

The photographic image is underlayed beneath the title and note in order to allow you to refer to the photograph without switching screens.

Tap the Research button to cancel creating the Photo Note.

Tap the Save button to create the Photo Note.
