Wireless Export is one-way transfer from the desktop to the iPhone.
Wireless sync requires the Auteureist™ Sync desktop app which is only available on the Macintosh.
To Export Text Wirelessly
NOTE: If the text you are exporting to the iPhone starts with a bullet (opt-8) • and a space, the first first line will be treated as the name of the chapter on the device.
- Enter the Wireless Synchronization screen by tapping the Sync button on the Synchronization/Export Screen which will display the steps you must follow.
NOTE: The title should indicate that the wireless connection is ready. If it does not, check your device's settings.
- On the desktop, start the Auteureist™ Sync application which will guide you through the steps.
- Paste or type the text you want into the main section of the Auteureist™ Sync on the desktop.
- Once you click on the Export item in the desktop app, your text should appear on your iPhone.
- If you are exporting: tap the Save button on the iPhone to create a new chapter in the current novel.
The new chapter will be named: • Imported Data *
- At this point, you can exit the Synchronization screens and switch to the Capter Selection Screen.
You should see a new chapter titled: • Imported Data • or with the tile you specified on the first line of the import.
- You can now rename the chapter or edit the imported text normally.
